When we went to build our home, the Gopher Tortoises created all types of problems such as a delay in the build ($$$), having to move the house further from the road ($$$), and having to move the house from the center of the property to more to one side of the property. The authorized agents wanted to charge us $3200 to move the turtles and the government wanted to potentially charge us thousands more. We could not afford that because we had not not budgeted for the Gopher Tortoise because we had never heard of the Gopher Tortoise! We decided that we could not let those people control the market because clearly, there was not enough competition. That is what motivated us to become authorized agents in addition to our regular jobs. We would not let them destroy the American Dream for others. After all, who plans on spending thousands of dollars on moving a turtle when they enivision their dream home? Not us, so we are here to help you by offering a lower cost for the removal.
