Pricing For Gopher Tortoise Surveys and Relocations

Less than 2 acres: $320

2 - 5 acres: $370

5 - 7 acres: $440

Our Pricing For Capturing and Moving a Tortoise using bucket trapping:

Most captures will cost $1700* whether it be onsite or offsite. The increase in distance from the property will increase the price. For instance, driving more than 1 hour to a property could increase the price starting at $3000*. This price is still less than most GT agents are charging. Keep in mind that we do this to help present and future homeowners, not because it is our source of income. We have other fulltime jobs. After the 28 days it becomes $100 a day. There are other factors that can affect a capture. For instance, if the temperature drops below 50 degrees, the government forces us to start the 28 day count over. If this is too complicated to think about... we agree. It is hard to forecast costs but most captures take less than 2 weeks. We do not charge per turtle!
